Over the weekend of April 15-17, 2005, the Gamma Psi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta celebrated its 50th year on the TCU campus. Ladies traveled from all over the country to attend. We had women from Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Virginia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and of course many from the great state of Texas. Of the 1400 Gamma Psi's 145 women attended at least one of the weekend's events!

We kicked off the celebration Friday night with an open house where alums could come back and visit their old rooms in the Theta house, and take a look at old composites and scrapbooks. Many memories and stories were shared and it was great for the actives to hear the crazy stories from Gamma Psi's past.

On Saturday morning actives and alums enjoyed a delicious brunch and beautiful ritual review in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni Center on the TCU campus. We also recognized six 50 year Thetas who were part of Gamma Psi's very first Pledge class. We were honored to have our very first two Gamma Psi presidents, Rue Campbell Ford, 1955, and Sally Tull Renshaw, 1956, with us to celebrate.
